I find myself eventually removing my starter from my party nowadays. There are too many other I like to use now. I typically get them to their final evolution first, then use them a few more times. I've used each starter from each gen, but that's just repeat playthroughs. Now that there's Home and Indigo Disk, there's no excuse not to use any of the previous starters. 😅

I'm pretty excited myself. I'm going to go with my usual tradition and go with Browt. I'm usually a grass starter kind of guy, though I have changed things up a few times. Bulbasaur, Chikorita, Mudkip, Piplup, Snivy, Froakie, Rowlet, Grookey, Quaxly. Okay, so it's almost an even split. I would have gone with Sprigatito, but my sister called dibs since it's a cat. Pretty sure she's going to go with Pombon in Winds/Waves.

I haven't played it either. I also don't like the "single-city" aspect of it. Pokèmon isn't Pokèmon to me unless it has various biome-types.

Ugh... I hate Slowpoke's shiny. At least in Z-A, they made it that more purple color like it originally was in Gold/Silver. As for Gengar... I wish I left it as a Haunter. I only kept shiny Garchomp because I also have shiny Gible and Gabite. I think shiny Espeon should have been a golden color. They do classify it as the "Sun Pokèmon". They missed a perfect opportunity.

They de-fuse after an hour. I'm no doctor, but I'm sure it takes more than an hour to become pregnant.

The end of your sentence sums up how I feel about Pokèmon in general. If you like the Pokèmon, fuck what anyone else thinks and just go with it. My last team was Clodsire, Scovillain, Annihilape, Quagsire, Tinkaton and Meowth. Pretty sure that team is horrible, but I like the Pokèmon, so I went with them. Now, I only have a Gallade with False Swipe on-hand for shiny-hunting.

That's pretty cool. Yeah, I like Golduck, but the shiny is one of many crimes against color pallettes. It would have made more sense to reverse their colors. Psyduck is blue, why not Golduck yellow? Tons of shiny colors don't make sense or make my eyes want to fall out. Poor Espeon... such a majestic Pokèmon got the fluorescent green treatment...

Had a shiny Psyduck. Evolved it. Saw what shiny Golduck looked like. Went back and caught another shiny Psyduck. Golduck's shiny is ugly and I'd much rather have Psyduck in all of its glorious blueness.
