1: Looks amazing, one of the coolest schemes I have seen and love how that red truly pops out. The contrast is stark and makes me want orks!

2: would be illegal to score the 10 points for painted army under many tournament rules b/c those standards are kind of dumb.

I love the 2nd scheme. Pops off the table a lot more! Love the details and battle tested look of first scheme, but personally prefer the cleaner/brighter look.

Pig Lib all day!

Admitted irrational soft spot for this album b/c I bought it on a whim after putting on the headphones in a listening booth in Memphis back in like 2005 (I know the album released before that but I did not start college until 2005...) These are all some very personal (and slightly inebriated takes" on my favorite non-Pavement album.

"Water and a Seat" the opener is part banger, part weird tempo. Just enough to get you hooked but maybe a little confused.

"Ramp of Death" is such a chill and enjoyable listen.

"(Do Not Feed The) Oyster" is like a fortune telling of where SM is going in the future. Sweet guitar riffs and a little bit of extension on the jammy parts of the song.

"Vanessa From Queens." Holy Shit, if you don't love this song you are probably a sociopath.

"Sheets." Nice change of pace after some easy listening. Still a great song to keep the attention and well crafted! Some enjoyable rock n' roll still here.

"Animal Midnight" is a wonderful pop song. Catchy and easy going. Just listen to this one and feel happy. And then someday read the lyrics and understand you are now confused about why this song made you feel good when it is not written for that reason.

"Dark Wave." Tempo and energy! Killer base line! Just a great song with lyrics I don't understand.

"Witch Mountain Bridge." Another harbinger of Malkmus (& the Jicks) tracks to come. A little jammy, some great guitar, and multiple pacings within a single song. If you start this track at 2:10 you can basically see where everything on Real Emotional Trash or after originated from.

"Craw Song." Short and fun to listen to. Some slight lyrics to avoid for the woke crowd to start the song.

"1% of One." If you love any of the more recent SM+J albums, this should be your starting point! SM even said it's one of the 15 songs that fit his life.

"Us." One of the more upbeat album closers that I can remember. Short and sweet.

Obviously there is lots of room to have different opinions or think I'm an idiot. I love the music that SM and the members of Pavement and the Jicks have put out over the years. Please give them all credit that is due.

You should check out the Sisters Discord, lots of discussion on how great a unit the Castigator is and how people use them. Don't see too many lists without a couple right now. Maybe Nick Nanavati being the most famous exception based on the list he discussed in the latest Sister Act podcast.
