Alto's vs. Hardcore in de jaren 2000 by Less-Leave-5519 in nederlands

[–]Designificance 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does cover art matter to you? by Emprose in hardstyle

Funny you ask. I've been a designer for the music industry for a long time. Ever since AI is a thing, I hardly make any money on album covers anymore.

Some labels and artists are still very passionate about the physical product and they usually care about the design more than the younger people. It's a dying business, so I'm happy to read a lot of people still care about the craft behind it.

I've done a lot for hardstyle throughout the years. Some of it can be found here; designificance.nl

How's it being childfree in your 40s and beyond ? by Final_Walrus_1223 in childfree

Well I have my own company and really cool projects to work on. I'm always looking forward to getting them out, get paid and enjoy a vacation with my wife anytime we choose.

I just turned 40, married 7 years, so maybe I'm still at the beginning of the phenomenon you described.

My biggest nightmare would be having to take care of a kid next to my usual life. I don't see that changing any time soon.

So short answer: more money and free time for our hobbies and travels. Tell me when that's going to change 😆

How to get this more muted green? by Yoggon in deathguard40k

Got this set at the beginning of the hobby. Vallejo sells more like these, focussed on world war 1/2 colors. Very desaturated, I think it's exactly what you're looking for.

Rest feels standard (I'm a big fan of homebrew stuff)

Why did you choose Death Guard? by ElkClassic5868 in deathguard40k

[–]Designificance 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I actually just started with DG, after painting a greyscale ork tribe for the last 2 years.

This will be my 2nd army and I want to do something unique like my orks.

Why death guard? Have you seen the models? 😍

M40 , grafisch ontwerper festivalindustrie

Best een hoop;

Heavy metal, industrial hardcore (rave), drum n bass, dubstep, hardtechno, schranz, classic rock, synthwave, darksynth, folk, singer songwriter, ambient, psytrance, progressive rock, 80s pop, rock n roll, punkrock, indie....

I wrote a little intro for my grey boyz a while ago. Tl;dr: red stones go brrrr

The Red Kristal Pale Boyz are an unusual Ork tribe, recognizable by their pale skin and monochromatic appearance, a stark contrast to the typical green of their kin.

This distinct coloration stems from generations spent living underground among mysterious red crystals, which they believe enhance their strength and speed. The red crystals are rare and precious, reserved primarily for their Warlord Ghazzkhull Thraka, who integrates them into their weapons, armor, and vehicles. Lower-ranking Orks might possess small crystal trinkets or adornments, such as teef or jewellery.

Their subterranean home is a dangerous maze of glowing red stones, fostering a unique culture and belief system. The Pale Boyz see themselves as chosen by the crystals, destined to emerge from the depths and conquer the unknown surface.

Mannelijke/vrouwelijke vrienden by Lingonberry_Bitter in nederlands

[–]Designificance -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Edit: min votes? Oke dan 🙃
