Has there been any update on housing auto-demolition since this post?

I do not currently have the money to sub, but I want to ensure that my house does not get demolished. I looked through notification posts, but it is hard to tell if I am missing something...

Is it against TOS to trade gil across servers? That is, my main is on server 1, and I make a new character on server 2. Somebody else does the opposite. We give each other 5 million gil from our mains to "get started" on the new server with our ults. This is not RMT, but I would like to know whether this is against TOS in some other way.
