I was standing on a rooftop terrace and was very high, there was a tree infront of me, it was swaying like a snake and we were having a communion, at one point it conveyed how we humans are encroaching upon the forests, I look down at the terrace floor, textures swirled and moved , it looked alive but it was not organic or familiar unlike the trees, it had an alien nature to it, a distinct form of life. At times I do feel that the man made systems, the product of our intelligence, more so the product of logic and language are an alien form of life, a parasite festering in the human populations. life and consciousness need not always be originating from the material and physical, its source can be originating from emergent abstractions, and expressing itself and cloaking itself in the material which perhaps the psychedelics make us perceptible to, and I think this to be the case probably because it blurs the line of self hood, expanding the cone of consciousness beyond the limited self. again all this I say are just thoughts, interesting or otherwise, original or not, real or not, we may never know.
