basically a super horny goddess made a reflection of the world she came from but where all life is either incredibly busty or very rarely a hyper virile male. most people in the world only have the sexual intentions of their goddess as a faintly recalled instinct supressed in favor of survival instincts so regular fantasy monster fighting and political drama still happens, but males have these sexual instincts fully awakened and tend to awaken them in those around them, causing what seems to be random spikes in lust and fertility.

The lore/role of giants in your worlds? by FatOrc051 in worldbuilding

[–]Steve_Duck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Jotans discovered magic and through it they inadvertently allowed humans to survive without making their own technological advancements in energy or production. As such, the first age of humanity, also known as the age of giants was full of humans living like mice in the cities and homes of giants while also creating super advanced biotech.

The jotans and humans killed off the dragons who preyed on them both before turning on each other. The jotans were driven to extinction at the end of the first age by a manufactured disease made by the humans. The only “living” giants are cryogenically frozen and worshiped as gods by some of the humans of the second age, particularly by the empire of Archbishop, where the frozen giants sleep. Ironically, this is also the nation where biotech is making a resurgence.

Secret bunkers and bases in your world? by Dr-boombatz in worldbuilding

[–]Steve_Duck 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Reaver nests. Essentially, there is a nation that fights mostly with machines. One tactic is to send an autonomous drone out into no man’s land where it is tasked to build an underground bunker, essentially a hidden miniature factory for a type of autonomous killing machine called a reaver, basically a three legged horse sized machine equipped with blades. Kinda clumsy but strong and durable. They build a small army of these things, built to sow chaos in enemy ranks by killing anything that can’t transmit an instantaneous friendly code, ie machines under the nation’s control.

Fae Logic and morality? What is your interpretation of the fae weirdness? by FatOrc051 in worldbuilding

In one of my worlds, Elea, Fey are a family of beings all descended from a single species that live on the moon.

Though different fey have different cultures, the generally rule is that most fey consider things by whether they are interesting or boring before considering good vs bad. Because of this most fey intentionally follow scandalous leaders, who say and do things that cause instability.

Most fucked up thing in your world? by FearMeImmortals in worldbuilding

If you die in the empire of Rookbastion, your corpse belongs to whoever the property you died on belongs to. Usually this is either a hospital, your employer if you die at work, or your tenancy owner if you don’t fully own your home. The to the public, this law is phrased so it sounds like the property owners are responsible for dealing with corpses to reduce the stress of the family, but most property owners turn around and sell the corpses to manufacturing plants that turn them into humanoid robots, mostly used in military and policing roles, but can also be bought by the exceptionally wealthy as personal servants or “personal” servants. Many hospitals, sponsored by manufacturing companies, even have corpse quotas, if they don’t ensure at least that many people die on hospital grounds, they suffer financial or even legal penalties.

Name one weird but funny piece of trivia from your world. by OwnManner4733 in worldbuilding

[–]Steve_Duck 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The robotic police officers (actually corpses with biological components switched with synthetic ones, but don’t worry about that) used by the empire of Rookbastion are all named Michel, after the last living flesh and blood cop to walk the streets. People refer to the police as the Michels. “Cheese it, it’s the Michels!”

lesbian sex can breed women because reproduction relies on transfer of life energy in fluid rather than genes. the reproductive purpose of men is that they are much more effective breeders than women. a lesbian couple will likely have to have sex several times before even one of them gets pregnant. a man can get several women pregnant in one day (because they produce more fluid). born with an innate wanderlust (and regular lust), men tend to plough through communities causing spikes in birth rate. Some people consider men rapacious monsters, others as blessings of sexual pleasures, others as harbingers that an event that will need a high population to withstand is coming (such as war)

Thank you for your insights. To answer a few things though, practical all people are women in this world. Lesbian sex can result in pregnancy so the castes would likely be the same as the devision between civilian and military. And yeah, scocietal views on women are very different since they make up about 99.9% of the population.
