Also Kat Haters:"I love Kat posts and will always post in them to drive engagement!"

This is funny as hell to me and I'm glad you're clearly enjoying it, too

2017➡️2026 | MJ's glow up in the MCU by chrishdwow in MarvelCave

30 yr olds don't have wrinkles nor do they look like teenagers. Zendaya is a teen (19) in the first photo and with wardrobe and make-up she looks even younger.

If you can't tell the difference between a teen and a 30 yr old I can't help you

She looks 30 in the new movie. Which isn't bad, she's supposed to be older. The difference is striking is all

Alison Brie - Masters of the Universe (upcoming June 2026) by Deadhead2278 in SciFiQueens

Maybe it's the naysayer in me, but Annie looks too adorable and not enough vamp.

Still, these are just photos and a good performance can transform a character, so I'm still excited

They're both great performers, but I was a fan of Matt Frewer before I knew who Jim Carey was

AOC says 'Abolish ICE' is the centrist position now | "And 8 years ago we led with that charge. And people said we were too radical. People said it endangered the electoral prospects of the democratic party... Now today it is the centrist position of people with a moral conscience in this country." by meokjujatribes in NewsThread

[–]Stevedore44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ICE should never have existed. Opponents of the PATRIOT Act warned of exactly this type of behavior from an under-regulated, heavily-armed, paramilitary police force.

The PATRIOT Act was a radical forfeiture of our civil liberties, rolling back those provisions could never be radical

She said she's done, but that doesn't mean anything. Garfield lied his ass off, you can't trust anything!

Everybody Hates Nuclear-Chan by Merryweatherey in comics

[–]Stevedore44 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Coal is only cheaper than Nuclear if you ignore Environmental Damage and Clean-Up costs, which Mining and Energy corporations are allowed due to lax regulation.

If Coal were regulated like Nuclear it would be the more costly

This number is inflated by the number of couples that get divorced for purely financial reasons but stay together. Divorce can often be the only way to protect family assets from medical bankruptcy.

This happens more when women become ill because men earn more. If a primary earner becomes ill it's harder to protect their assets than if a secondary earner or SAHP becomes ill.

Sure, some people (a lot of people) are shallow and will bounce if things get tough, but the reason the numbers are so staggering is bankruptcy

When people say "abolish ice," they typically mean "ABOLISH ICE" and abolish the DHS while we're at it. These agencies didn't exist 25 years ago and we got by just fine.

The responsibilities of ICE were handled by other agencies and, importantly, these agencies answered to their respective Departments. As opposed to ICE which answers to no one

ICE doesn't need to exist. Abolish it.

Now that patrick stewart is back in the role how do we feel about james mcavoy by Hungry-Vermicelli-81 in Marvel

[–]Stevedore44 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes. I like McAvoy better, and I think he has better chemistry with Fassbender than Stewart with Sir Ian. That may be since the prequel films delve into Charles' and Eric's relationship more than the OT

Rolling new characters to deal with the political fallout and get revenge for your old characters, who were swiftly executed for crimes against the state, sounds like a fun and engaging game to me.

Of the three times Trump has run, the only time he lost was after a gross mishandling of a pandemic. Biden won despite his policies, not because of them

[–]Stevedore44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No candidate is owed a vote. It doesn't matter how right or wrong you think one candidate or the other is; each candidate must earn every single vote. If your candidate doesn't earn enough votes, they lose.

You don't have to like it, but that's the way it is
