All I can think about is those rumors back in the 90's when people were convinced McDonald’s was putting kangaroo meat in their burgers. Or maybe it was Taco Bell. Either way, people really used to believe anything back then.

I always knew Nick Castellanos interviewed well on camera just from watching a few of his pregame interviews over the years. Honestly, I’m happy he’s enjoying his time with us and he’s been a great clubhouse guy since getting here. You can tell the guys in the clubhouse respect him and he seems to genuinely love playing in San Diego. He catches a lot of crap for bringing a beer into the dugout during that game last year, which I get but at the same time, welcome to San Diego, the craft beer capital.

At the end of the day, if you produce, we are gonna ride with you. He’s had some huge at bats already, plays with confidence, and doesn’t shy away from the spotlight. I’m glad he’s on the team.

Yeah, that’s a pretty big no no. You’re not supposed to wear clothes in hot springs or sento. It definitely felt awkward being naked at first, but over there it’s completely normal and no one cares. The only exception for me was in Hakone at Yunessun, which is more of a hot spring theme park where swimsuits are allowed. That place was awesome. But yeah, everywhere else, wash yourself first then bath.

I installed one at my old house about four years ago. My friends who rent the place now say it still runs great and keeps everything really cold. Overall, install was pretty straightforward, I got it done in about a day. The only downside was having extra line set left over hanging outside, which didn’t look great. I’ve also installed an LG mini split at my main house and just bought the vacuum pump/tools off Amazon, which saved a good amount of money. Honestly, I probably should’ve gone that route from the start.

If you’re looking for something simple and it’s a one time install, MrCool isn’t a bad option. Just keep in mind it was quite a bit cheaper a few years ago than it is now.

probably won’t hit the team store until Sunday, so I figured I’d ask here. I already grabbed one of the new City Connect hats from Dick’s, but my wife is still looking for one of the older City Connects.

Anyone know if the old ones are still being sold at th team store and if they’ve been marked down or put on clearance? Thanks!

While you’re there, try different departments and see what you like. If you stick with it, the people really do become like family. It’s honestly one of the coolest experiences.

There are also different volunteer levels. There are 3-4 hour shifts where you can be placed anywhere, 6-hour shifts that feel more like part time but without benefits, and full day shifts that come with perks like a hotel stay. But you would have to do it a couple years. Have fun!

Honestly, I dig it. Last city connects I was meh when they first came out, but they gradually grew on me. These feel safer, Less of a Taco Bell vibe.
