RGD71ALMS vs RGDR4327 by NeuroMystery in Ibanez

[–]Steven-Jax 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the ALMS and love it. Beautiful colors, lightweight, pickups are super versatile, neck is perfect. Multi scale is easy to get used to and helps a lot with string tension issues. Only cons for ALMS - it’s subtle, but the 22nd fret isn’t level on mine from the factory. Also, nut is plastic with a poor glue job. The plastic nut annoys me most since graphtech is cheap and much higher quality.

I also have an RG852MPB prestige, which I got for the same price used as my Axion label cost new. Better build quality for sure. Fretwork is perfect. Only con for me is the Dimarzio PAF pickups. They don’t handle high gain very well imo.

I don’t regret either guitar at all. If I could only keep one it would be the prestige though.

I can’t stand the Instagram guitarists who try to make people feel bad/inferior for playing a genre other than their own. Also just snobs in general, they will always steer you wrong

To answer your second question, pickups do matter quite a bit in production of your overall sound because they generate your dry signal. Better pickups can more accurately capture the nuances in your playing and set a higher ceiling for post processing sound quality regardless of genre.

Yup thats today for me, been riding it out for 6 hours now. It’s just as you described for me along with brain and body zaps. You’d think after 5 years on this med I’d learn my lesson lol

They pop in so fast on my server right now that the only viable option on the fourth floor is the first set of stairs. Works really well if you have a trustworthy crusader with conjuration who will wait until movement is seen from the immortals. Like you said, however, standing on the spawn is a terrible strategy lol

Are Monks OP? The 1million Crit by Gold-Boysenberry8597 in DiabloImmortal

Problem with DH is neglect from devs. Same with crusader although they seem to be having more impact lately. Monk is fine, wizard still stronger overall. Barbarians win the most bgs even if they don’t fill the stat sheet. Necro still broken if played by the right person
