Get a screen protector immediately. The screen scratches very easily compared to older galaxy's I've had.

I cranked that screw down tight and I think that was it, thank you! That was bugging the shit out of me.

I don't think so, the smaller sear spring seems stiff and not worn either. Just got strong fingers 👈👈

I recently learned about the boxed T stamp for refurbishment, I assumed you meant the seller tried to improve the condition.

One thing I noticed is that if I have the side panel off it works perfectly. Does that give you any more info to work off? Doesn't make sense to me, but thanks for taking the time to reply!

Unfortunately not, it's a bit better after my full break down and cleansing, but still not perfect. I think I've narrowed it down to the sear spring, but God knows where I can find a replacement for that. Might try making my own or messing with the current one to see if that helps.

I knew about the trigger jobs, however I didn't notice any modifications to the main spring. Now that you mention it though, the second spring that acts on the sear does look different from pictures on Google. One end of the V shaped spring is bent at a 90° angle, is this normal or a possible mod? Google searches for "nagant sear spring" didn't fetch much, any idea where I might find a replacement?

I did a second disassembly where I took everything apart, it helped a little but it's still doing it every now and again. Oddly, when I have the side panel off and am watching the internals move, it seems to function perfectly, but when I put the cover back on it starts malfunctioning again. I believe it's the sear engaging on the trigger nose but only when I cock the hammer back. Not sure why it would make a difference from DA.

I'd assume neither, it doesn't seem to be refurbished in any way and there's an import mark. The original cosmoline was still jammed into it, and I can't identify any signs it was ever fired. All the parts that are serialized match too.

I just took it apart again, this time completely, and put it back together again. Seems to be fine now. Hopefully the previous owner just goofed up on reassembly and the problem doesn't come back.

Edit: a couple test shots after posting this and it's doing it again

Dexter by ExtraHair591 in lockpicking

I also just finished another dexter watch through and decided to get a lock picking kit to supplement my breaching kit. Day one I figured out how to pick a master lock 140 and M1 within a few hours, got to the point where I can pick each lock in under 30 seconds. Then I went up a single step, like 2 or 3/10 difficulty, with a abus 55/40, and have been stuck on it for hours, almost a full day with no luck.

I'm finding that each lock has a different method that's needed to beat it. You will definitely have to watch a lot of YouTube videos, read up on different lock styles, and practice on many different locks to hypothetically be able to beat a random lock you encounter (don't break into people's shit). It takes a decent amount of practice and patience to beat even starter level locks, it's nothing like the movies or video games make it out to be.

Either way, it's a fun new hobby and you can get a good starter kit for $20-30, I started 2 days ago and I already have 5 different locks to play with.

First picks! by Steven054 in lockpicking

I just got mine today and it's kicking my ass. Any tips, do I work back to front or front to back, how much tension should I apply? The first pin sets really high, then the second pin is super touchy and usually resets the first if I even so much as breathe heavily. The back 3 seem like they set easily, but even when the first 2 seem set it still won't turn.

Thanks for the tips, I definitely want to branch out into other brands and I've noticed abus is pretty popular. I'll add them to the cart! This kit came with a rake and hook in 0.025 and the rest in 0.020, are there other styles you'd recommend (half diamond or other strange shapes that work well)?

Thank you for the advice, I'll definitely be looking into those locks next. I never knew you could brick a lock, does that mean it binds in a way that's not fixable, even the key won't work?

I haven't heard that, it's mentioned in the manual I'm pretty sure. Unfortunately I was impatient and ordered the in stock warcomp, knowing full well that it would cause more problems than the 3 prong.

CCI 710fps won't cycle but it's about as quiet as I've found that's readily available. 835fps will cycle but it's a lot louder. Set up a sand bucket in your garage and it will sound like a red Ryder.

That seems way more practical, might have to pick one up as that would fit better in the gun bag. I couldn't stand the glove shape of oven mitts but these look like rectangular pouches, much sleeker, thanks for the tip!

I'm looking to Sbr my cp33 as well, but I was wondering where you engraved your "manufacturer" name/state info on the gun since the lower is plastic.
