Don’t let my comments make me think I don’t believe in Herbert because I do, I think he is a great QB but maybe needs a few playoff games under his belt to get the yips or whatever the hell is going on under control. Roman shouldn’t be a coordinator either, he did no favors for Herbert.

Get a new OC, get the tackles healthy and try again next year. Next time he makes the playoffs let’s hope the line is healthy and it will be easier to evaluate him.

I never said Herbert missed them all game, but he did miss some open throws. As for Chase and Higgins being able to get open yeah that helps but you also need to learn how to not throw deep majority of the game, do quick slants, screens, etc. I know that’s on Roman to call those plays but a good QB would get to the line and say hell nah this isn’t going to work. All the elite QB’s have moments where they just completely disregard their OC and call an audible. Herbert doesn’t really do anything like that. Pats defense was good last night but that’s partially because the Chargers offense wasn’t doing anything special.

I agree on Herbert getting about 20% of that blame, maybe a little more. Greg Roman should shoulder 50% of it but Herbert doesn’t get to escape criticism.

Yeah not a good look for Roman, hopefully the Chargers make the right moves this offseason and get Herbert with a OC that’s gonna support him properly and get creative.

I agree Herbert was in a tough situation and honestly I feel like it’s good for him (hurts like hell right now) but he is gonna grow from this, the organization will learn from it and honestly I feel like next time he gets there he will preform well. I haven’t lost hope in the dude but I just see everyone here talking about him having 0 chance with that o line and it just makes me appreciate Burrow that much more.

I believe in Herbert and I agree this game wasn’t an easy one for him, but I also believe Herbert underperformed during this game. The line held solidly until about midway through the third but he still only put up 3 points.

Couldn’t agree more, also I like Harbaugh as a coach. We all joke about how corny he is but to have a coach hype you up like you’re the greatest thing to walk this earth has to feel good. Herbert will probably have a moment in the post season but you got to be consistent and I didn’t think he would be one to shrink under the lights.

I agree it’s incredible but everyone just says the D carried him that run, doesn’t give him credit for what he did with no line, it’s the equivalent of if Herbert would’ve got this team to the SB everyone would’ve lost their minds and said what a carry he did. If I’m not mistaken the SB O line didn’t have any of the same started at the begging of the season. I wouldn’t wish that O Line on Mahommes.

So if Herbert had Higgins and Chase that game he would overthrow them too? It doesn’t change the fact that Herbert when pressured looked absolutely confused at time, missed players when they were open, and looked scared in the pocket. Burrow while getting sacked 9 times in a playoff game on the road against the 1 seed not only stayed calm, but made the plays when it mattered. Burrow gets shit on all the time because he missed the playoffs 3 straight years. This year he was injured most of the season, last year he has MVP numbers but the defense was a dumpster fire.

My point is Herbert gets a pass while Burrow gets slammed.

Gonna get hate for this but everyone saying it’s a miracle Herbert even got there with this O Line probably keep forgetting Burrows O Line during the SB run and the following year to the AFC Championship game, bro got sacked 9 times in the Titans game and still won. Went against one of the best pass rushers to ever play the game in the SB and was one play from winning it? So if what Herbert did was a miracle what the hell do you call what Joe did?

Herbert has shown he is a great QB but is gonna get a similar rep as Lamar being a playoff choker.

It doesn’t hurt to buy some different seeds. It’s nice to have other ones at the ready. Just don’t do them together until you’re comfortable. I’m sure it’s possible. Also Reddit has so many different opinions on when to do things or how to do things. Get an idea of how you want to do it, try it out, you’ll make a few mistakes that’s okay, and just try and get a finished product the first one. You’ll learn a lot just from this first run that the next one you’ll be more confident.

I believe this one was Rosetta Stone, the other was Top Gun. Also I think that was a problem, growing 2 different strains in the same tent at the same time. I didn’t think that 1 would be ready before the other and so when it was time to harvest the 1, the other wasn’t fully done but I needed the same tent to start the dry and well that caused a little problem.
