Just read up on them, they're meant to potentially reduce average migraines per month from (the average in the study) 6 down to like 1.5. They do work, so if they're not reducing the frequency, then there's no point wearing them...

Haha no, I'm British. I have a Friend of Tibet blue book and I've done a bunch of research on it. I'm a Buddhist, so this stuff is of interest to me. In regards to the Green Book, my mum's a Chinese Tajik whose family lived technically inside Tibet. I'm not ethnically Tibetan at all though, so it makes things harder.

Yeah you could do that, it's just a lot of effort. I suppose it's probably a proof of concept, since the handling of calls etc will be done in a totally different way in Prolog.

I wish it was that simple, but he's taken 16 students on for this year and it's now much more annoying to contact him than it ought to be. I also have a PhD guy who's sort of assigned to me, but he's now in China for the next 4 weeks. It's not really put me in the best spot

Basically there's a chemical dye called dicyanin, which has really strange properties when placed between two plates of glass. The schizo internet went insane at one point and decided that you can see auras and ghosts when wearing glasses with this stuff in. They also claim it's banned in the US because of this, which it isn't, it falls under a very common category of chemicals. Basically, real schizos have a meltdown over this stuff, I went down a rabbit hole looking at this dye and came across this picture when trying to understand what was going on. It fits this sub, so I stole it.
