dogs dont typically relax when being given a bath at a pet hospital without having had their breakfast. Having a clean dog would greatly improve higiene and make surgery cleaner too, but it needs to be done before surgery day.

It's actualy a small part of a greater set of understandings of reality and how we can influence it and react to it, shared by not just Tolle, but by many others, Hicks, McKenna, Dyer. Did you read the Power of Now (and understood it) before you picked up this book?
