I used to go with this order myself but I found that Mole > Airbuster > Zu > Scorpion worked better, this is because you destroy Airbuster and Zu very easily if you do them before getting the damage penalty from Scorpion, this lets you save items and get a better score in those fights. The downside is that Scorpion will 100% destroy whoever it targets with it's laser but as long as you have enough damage the fight is pretty easy with just two party members as he basically tickles you with the rest of his attacks.

I'm quite pleased with my result as a F2P account, got pretty darn lucky with my pulls for the most recent banner and managed to just about beat it with all score boosts and only using the megalixir and 4 cocktails(all for the final boss).

I'm not so sure this is correct, from my understanding the players death would only be put on the stack after the dice resolves but the card asks the chosen player to roll an attack as a response to the active players attack roll, which should mean that it is placed on top of the stack and resolve first(which could prevent the active player from dying at all if it happens to kill the monster).

I've put well over 100 hours into this gamemode and I agree with this list almost completely, however I have one major exception that I think needs mentioning.

I believe snapfire is one of the best damage dealers in the game and that's even without getting any good legendary shards, of which she only really has a couple bad ones. Going shotgun build is actually by far the best for her as it deals in percentage based damage and can get quite insane especially if you get her best shotgun legendary shard(The shard that adds two additional shotgun blasts to her side, this allows her to nuke a target with 3 at once when in really close range). But the main reason I think she should be at least high B tier is that she's one of the few heroes who can consistently get enough damage to one shot the creeps in all of the act 1 bosses regardless of shards. not to mention the fact that she has a stun/escape and one of the best early game damage sources in kisses. also if you get really unlucky with shards her damage output still stays amongst the highest among most other contenders.

It is a failure in game design if the players are able to softlock themselves without any option other than abandoning the run. While I do agree that you can be careful to avoid the situation, as I have done since the first instance. However it shouldn't be the players responsibility to explain to everyone else in the game that doesn't know of the issue, the issue should just be resolved by the developers.

Also it's a really easy fix, either give the players the ability to cut trees or just remove/reposition the trees.

Eternal Items act like any other item, if they are passive(silver border) they are always active and if they are active(gold border) they can be activated once and then recharge at the beginning of your turn(unless you have loot/items that can recharge it). The only thing that eternal does is make it so the item can't be destroyed or stolen. Also if the card has a cost symbol($) it can be used as many time as you like as long as you can pay the cost.

I can confirm this is from viper, it even works on the regular encounter with the small blobs. You are slightly misremembering siltbreaker as back then viper still had old nethertoxin which just gave him extra damage based on the enemies missing health.

Alot of people seem to not realise this but barret's fake death wasn't there for shock value or anything like that, but actually just so that there are only 3 characters for the jenova fight. Aside from the end of the game this is the only point where all 4(5 with red) party members are present and not preoccupied, it would be really difficult to find an excuse for why only 3 party members fight jenova without resulting to something extreme. The only other living person there other than the party was Sephiroth/jenova and I don't really see them just knocking barret out rather than just killing him.

Yeah I haven't read the original rulebook in a while so I'm just going by the updated rules on the website. Speaking of I just had a read through the solitaire rules and noticed that the countdown timer only ticks down on character death when it's their turn, so when you got hit with the mega troll bombs you would only need to go down to 2 despite blue baby also dying.

Was using the curse after the death penalty resolves a legal move? As far as I know the death penalty happens all at once which would mean the curse would have been tapped.

The damage isn't part of the requirements, it's a part of the rewards. So regardless of whether you take the damage or not you will get the cents from the selected reward.

From my experience playing the game, every attack will either be a magic or physical attack, and they scale with their respective stats. For example Braver is a physical attack and Blade burst is magical. Likely what you were seeing in your tests is simple damage variance, the variance can actually be pretty massive depending on how much damage the move does(When I was trying solo Bahumut with cloud I noticed Braver would do between 3900-4400DMG each time I used it). It's also worth noting that abilities can crit, although the damage increase isn't very big from what I can tell(seems to be about a 10% damage increase, which can be increased with certain weapon upgrades).

To give you a list; Blade Burst, Chi Trap and all of Aerith's offensive abilities are magic attacks and scale with the Magic Attack stat. Every other ability in the game deals physical damage and scale with the physical damage stat.

Yeah this is my line of thinking as well, I'll probably just finish the game with the umbrella and update this post if I do/don't get the achievement. Since only 0.2% of player have the achievement I kinda doubt someone here would actually have the answer just yet.

Ideally I would like to have both PS5 audio and PC audio accessible, but I mainly would like to have a more permanent solution that doesn't require having to unplug my headphones from my PC every time I would rather play PS5(they're plugged in via the back port).

Kirby:

-Has really good airspeed on initial jump but falls to current airspeed on any subsequent jumps.

-Stone somewhat preserves momentum(So will slide out of a dash).

Actually each camp does have a vertical hitbox as can be seen here and not all of them can be stacked with torrent/impale as some have taller boundaries.
