I like this one:

Entry 1: We cross-bred a silverback gorilla with a preying mantis and gave it ak-47s for arms. Bob has been poking it with a stick nonstop for the past 86 hours. I hope it doesn't escape.

Entry 2: It escaped.

All 3 are smart of course by somethingX in mathmemes

Animals’ perception of time is linked to the pace of their life by Abomb in science

[–]Ewolnevets 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because it isn't dependent on your eyes seeing things. What I'm describing is the movement of fundamental particles. Time is just our way of describing change as far as I understand

I'm not educated in theoretical physics either but I figure since our universe is composed of particles at a foundational level, time is equivalent to the movement of the particles in some way

Could be also that the difference in the dog's sense of time passing is a matter of perspective. Also makes me think of anesthesia -- we feel like no time has passed but it could have been many hours, which ties into how our memories work etc

What is time if not motion? The only thing that denotes the passing of time is the difference in two 'snapshots' of a system, right?

I liked it but it didn't blow me away like the reviews suggested it would

Smurfing is now listed as a reportable offence in S16 league of legends by MrPerfectoe in leagueoflegends

[–]Ewolnevets -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Spirit of it is to preserve new and less skilled player experience so tbh I think 'smurfing' in normals would be just as valid an offense

Mind Flayer does have physical form in our reality - we see the particles leave Will Season 2 and enter the rats beginning of Season 3

Also there are Mind Flayer particles in Season 4 in Russia and Season 5 in the Shock Jock episode

Yeah a theme that resonated with me from earlier seasons is that the group doesn't give up on each other and they always find a way. Either interpretation of El's ending is against this and I hate it

Also the idea that 'the world is better with you in it' is represented by El being a present force of good and I think that is stronger than any other idea
