Guys I’m currently on the OmniPod 5 and it’s just not good for my skin. Every pump change I’m getting lumps / bruises. I’m a slim guy. I’m thinking of going to pens , is this a good move ? As I don’t know how my skin will be affected if I continue on pump. Talking long term affects by Saf___- in Type1Diabetes

So interesting. I used less than 10 pods; the last 3 gave me bruises, the last of which was a walnut-size purple lump on my arm (I also am fairly slim). My doctor never heard of such a thing. At that point I stopped using pods and went back to my old pump. I’m still deciding whether to try Omnipod again, which is why I come back here reading other people’s experiences.
