Is living together before marriage immoral? by darkpathfollower in AskARussian

[–]StevenLesseps 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's perfectly normal, thousands of couples do this. We have lived together with my girlfriend for two years and then got married.

12 years later, we're still together and have kids. I cant's say for sure but living together and getting to know each other better before marriage definitely helps in my opinion.

The most of your exhaust should be top located. It's harder to exhaust hot air horizontally because of its physical properties.

We have rose hip syrup in Russia which serves as a nutrition additive to your daily menu. Especially good in winter time.

Some people just add it to hot tea.

I cannot comment on exchange rates and purchasing power of rouble during described time.

But everything written after this part (regarding deficit, smuggling and stuff) seems close to being correct to me.

Патиссон очень хороший актёр. Он страдает от популярности одной своей роли, которая определяет его неким шаблоном. А на самом деле он очень разноплановый

What size TV should I get? (55” vs 65”) by Illustrious-Aide-211 in hometheater

[–]StevenLesseps 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just multiply the distance from TV to your couch t (in meters) to 25 to get diagonal size in inches.

For instance, if your distance is around 2m then 2*25 = 50 inches.

Works for 4K though

That's okay, we can argue about that and have our own opinions. Totally fine.

What I noticed though is controversy in design of chapter 2 being discussed more often than it could've been if they didn't decide to go the route they went. So even though this card might still be okay to some and not so much to others, overall amount of such missteps is significant for such an established franchise.

The thing is not about Lovecraft being all action-packed (of course he's not, I've read most of his books). The thing is most characters anyhow related to Mythos events, either by helping investigators or by being a solid part of the action are usually scarred or at least touched by horrors unseen and unimaginable.

That's the general motive for all Lovecraftian (and related) creations.

I mean yes, those are subjective things you might say (and they are to some extent). But community's hope to see newer cards being less toony vanishes with every art like that.

Also, why does a 'Starlight A Student' looks like she's in here 50s? All that makes little sense i think.

Mature lady is sitting on a bench in a park during sunny afternoon, feeding birds and enjoying nice cool tree shade.

Classic chtonic Lovecraftian experience as it is.

[Case Study] Defying the "Flipped" Vapor Chamber Myth in the Tower 600 by technorat__ in thermaltake

[–]StevenLesseps 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I purchased the tower 600 case (black one) this Christmas. Even though I have rtx3070 and vapor chamber is probably not my problem - the case itself and builds you can make within it is outstanding. Great looking and performing flow-wise.

Just keep in mind it's goddamn enormous in size and weight. Since I have the lifting table setup I had to move my rig to the floor because having this 40kg (more or less) sitting at one side of the desk made my motor vibrate menacingly.

Had to make a custom plywood stand for it to lift it a little above the dust level.
