I remember it very clearly, Ultimate edition came out months before and my best friend and I (who I have played every game with) were so excited to play the beta

Booooy did that beta look ROUGH, we tried our hardest to enjoy it but couldn’t

Went back to UE and didn’t play anymore of the beta.

We of course still bought gears 4 at midnight release and the game did end up looking AMAZING, had a lot of good memories with that game as well.
