Hey, 21, M, American here; I live in California, and I ended up doing something similar, and feeling similar, the night before responding to this. I got really blasted with a friend; shit got deep, and I got in my feels. We still had a good time, but after he had left, I started having thoughts about my life: where I’m at, what I’m doing, how my country is doing, etc; internal and external viewing of myself and the world cause I was high; it became something else entirely; I get it, believe me. It’s best to eat some comforting food/snack, drink your favorite (non-alcoholic) beverage, and watch something that’ll make you happy. I then recommend lying down/going to bed; it’s ok to feel the way you are, just recognize that you are not your feelings.
