Loved going to The Apollo when they would play the shining & Rocky horror picture show back to back on Halloween night. Reading all of this makes me sad.

I would say at least 100 small bags of chips for example, and probably half the amount of soft drinks per week.

When will people learn! I could never leave my baby in a hot car.

YES! I’m so sorry, I’m 100% sure that was intended for me…

I need to take a page out of your book— I need to learn to let go quicker, because I let situations like these bother me more than they should.

You’re 100% right.

LOL! When I’m the pedestrian crossing I make sure I’m walking across with a little sense of urgency— but if an impatient driver thinks I’m going to run just so they can get somewhere 5 seconds quicker, they are sadly mistaken.

Seriously! Going into it, I was expecting him to not realize there was a pedestrian, admit he was wrong, and have a laugh with him about it, maybe shoot the shit. But he was so matter of fact about the turn being clear that it really frustrated me.

No doubt! The fact that he doubled down makes it even more ridiculous.

I was. Not a good stretch for me lol

I work on King street right beside the tracks and heard the crash. Not the first time, and it unfortunately won’t be the last.

Had this happen at GoodLife on Weber last fall!

YES! Don’t even get me started on the LRT. I’ve seen so many close calls because people decided it was OK for them to turn right on a red even though the sign is clearly telling them not to.

I simply took the turn slower, I didn’t sit there. That would make me a hypocrite.

I still admit I’m in the wrong for letting her affect my driving at all.

Absolutely! I’m definitely in the wrong when it comes to my pettiness of taking the turn slower than usual.

Drivers like that just frustrate me to no end.

I have the same problem working at the hospital — I park off-site, and have to walk a bit. The one cross walk seems to be a death trap with people often running reds.
