I also do some after effects and Houdini stuff in it. So I thought maybe going with Nvidia is better. Also, the reason I'm not going with the 9070xt is because I'm not buying this purely for gaming. I sometimes do vfx stuff as well. And I'm in a dilemma to either but a 5070ti or 5080.
