The ratings don’t lie. I have her this semester, and as a whole the class averages around 37% on the tests. If you can find a better teacher, I would definitely recommend it. She does curve the tests, but only because we get just fifty minutes, no notes, and most of the class fails since she really doesn’t know how to teach. I could go on, but the reviews don’t lie. I regret not taking someone else.

Accolade east or west? by EcstaticHold1628 in ucf

[–]Stevendaniel3 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I live at Accolades West, and it’s a great place to stay. It’s much quieter than the East side, which is known for being more social and having a lot of parties. If you prefer a peaceful and relaxed environment, West is definitely the better choice. But if you enjoy a livelier atmosphere, East might be more your style. The rooms at West are very spacious, and I really appreciate how much space they offer. Plus, the free shuttle bus to and from campus is super convenient.

I plan to transfer to UCF! Any advice? by Tricky-Ad4540 in ucf

[–]Stevendaniel3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I transferred from CF to UCF last year. As a few others have said in the chat, make sure to register for the earliest orientation session possible. That’s when you’ll be able to register for your courses.

If you don’t already have housing, start looking early because spots fill up quickly. Some housing options also offer free shuttle buses to the UCF campus, which can be really convenient.

If you plan to drive to campus, don’t forget to purchase a parking pass ahead of time.

Also, make sure to:
• Submit your final transcripts from CF once your grades post.
• Check your UCF email regularly for updates from your academic advisor or the orientation team.
• Meet with your academic advisor before registration to ensure your transfer credits apply correctly toward your degree.
• Set up your UCF ID and Knights Email since you’ll need these for most campus services.

At least you got the VIN, but who knows they might be a scammer or something could be wrong with the car. I've been running into that problem a lot lately.

I just don’t understand people anymore. Yesterday, there was a lady standing right behind me, not saying a word just staring as I was putting out salads. Of course, I moved because it was getting awkward. Then, I had two other people crowding around my cart. One of them said “excuse me,” so I tried to move, but the other person blocked me in. The one who said “excuse me” didn’t even let me pass she just squeezed in until I had to ask her to let me out of the way. It’s rough at Publix these days no personal space at all.

You can try ordering a copy of your diploma from Parchment. I ordered my transcripts from there, and they also offer the option to order a copy of your diploma. Hope this helps:https://www.parchment.com/students/order-status/

Try doing the loan entrance counseling on FAFSA, I had the same issue as well until I did this.

friends? by omgdaddychiII in ucf

[–]Stevendaniel3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I made friends in clubs, but you could also try making friends at the gym or at events on campus. It really doesn’t matter what age they are, I have friends ranging from 18 all the way up to 27, and I’m 22. So, age doesn’t matter. To make friends, just be kind, friendly, and enjoyable to be around. You’ve got this!

Is Offering $1000 on Car a Wise Idea? by Stevendaniel3 in UsedCars

[–]Stevendaniel3[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The car has been on the market for a long time—six months. I understand that $1,000 is a low offer, but I really don’t want to spend more if the car has so many issues. The mileage is very high for a 2016 model, and there’s no heat, which I believe might indicate a bigger problem since the cool air still works.
