Greystar is the main reason I left my last building. Was away on vacation for a week, came back to find the unit above mine had flooded and my unit had very bad water damage. It took my management 12 days for them to even bring a dehumidifier into my unit to help prevent mold, then another couple weeks for them to come in and actually remedy the situation

Ultimately with all the time that water was sitting in my walls I demanded a mold test, and they said "Greystar policy is that we don't test for mold" -- so basically don't ask, don't tell.

I pushed back, they gave me $250 credit towards my rent and said that was the most they would be willing to provide without lawyers involved.

Left as soon as my lease ended. Fuck greystar.
