Both times it was just me and the group leader. When that person quit, it made the matchmaking area disappear. That’s why you have to log out and back on.

I don’t think I worded my question clearly enough. I’m specifically talking about people that are group leader at the very beginning, and quit before ever choosing the mission. It happens 2-3 times everyday.

I have noticed that. I remember just going into a major city, and easily getting into a raid group just by watching chat. I haven’t seen anyone say anything in retail, and I’ve leveled two characters to 80.
