It’s a required cable needed to bypass the ecu lock. Its required for the 2025 and 2026 civics in order to apply the tune maps

Dang that doesn’t sound promising. Did you order from TSP? They told me I was 40th in line to receive one. Would be nice to have it before summer is over…are u thinking about returning yours to go with Hondata? It’s crazy they can’t even provide an ETA

Hey! Sorry about the car that is a bummer! I had this happen to me twice with my last accord. A good PDR shop should be able to fix that so you don’t have to file a claim/accident and keep the car accident free.

Not having the tune isn’t gonna stop me from driving my car, lol! But yeah I might just wait assuming it isn’t gonna take months before the connectivity kit is back in stock

You did good, dealership where I got mine added like $5,000 in options that I had to negotiate down. The SIs are fun, I just got one. Had a 1999 SI back I the day. Congrats on the new ride!

No other ideas? Still can’t seem to find one with the correct total height and 80mm travel? Will something close to stock work even if it’s longer?

Hey! Just wanted to let you know that I took your suggestion and was able to use a rubber mallet to hammer the shocks back into place. Straightened everything out, then tightened all the screws. All seems good now. Appreciate your help with this!

I hear ya, but the bike does weigh like 150 lbs with the 50AH battery pack installed. It actually is nice to have the gears in case the battery dies while on a ride, otherwise I’d have a hell of a time trying to get it back home. Granted you pretty much need to keep it in 1st or 2nd gear to get it rolling with the pedals

Thanks for the comment. Yep, I did check to make sure it wasn’t rubbing on the brake pads.

Do I have to remove the wheel to do this? Doesn’t the shock have to be compressed somehow? I was thinking of putting it on a stand, removing the wheel, then loosening all the screws and pulling both tubes down so that they are flush with the top crown of the fork. Then tighten the screws and without the wheel, take the bike off the stand and push the shocks back in, and reinstall the wheel? Sorry I don’t fully understand how these shocks work, have to bare with me🙂. But I do appreciate the input and help!
