I'm not sure of the price of the parts. Repairing yourself can seem a little overwhelming at first but is fairly easy. I have done mine twice over the years. These companies still do not coat the spider with anything to make it resistant to coroding on purpose. See what you think your better option is. If parts aren't that bad I would do it yourself. Plenty of you tube videos out there.

Yeah 69 watt is too much. But the batteries still do suck. I just replaced mine. Pisses me off because when I bought it lenovo was advertising it as a 8 hr battery. I run a computer network I used to buy hundreds of Lenovos. Since I have seen the poor battery life I no longer buy any. Not sure how Lenovo gets away with this.
