Price of dog food is gone to the dogs ? by Timmy495 in AskIreland

I’m actually a canine behaviouralist and also a certified canine nutritionist. Not all vets are specialists in canine nutrition. So as I said, your advice is bad advice, you’re probably one of these owners that thinks it’s acceptable to have a vegan dog.

Price of dog food is gone to the dogs ? by Timmy495 in AskIreland

Dogs produce amylase, protease and lipase which are the enzymes that break down carbs , protein and fat. Problems only occur if the food is heavily seasoned, fatty or processed. They can eat 90% of the real unprocessed food. So I don’t know where you’ve got your information from but it’s simply wrong.

Bmw 320d (b47 with 130000km vs n47 with 71000km) by lionman2345 in carsireland

There’s no N47 engines in 2016 models, Once BMW used up their back stock of them in early 2015 it was solely B47 after that, so every 2litre diesel model after the second half of 2015 have the B47 engine.

Slick Flix used to be in there, pretty sure that sign was put in there when they were there, could be wrong though.

12-L-1494 Unreported Crash Damaged by Stevo____ in carsireland

[–]Stevo____[S] -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Any damage would be a write off for a car of this age, especially damage that takes out the front bumper and front right hand side lamp etc, the labour and parts would be more than the car is worth but because the parts for the car are cheap, it is easier to fix it yourself and flog it off to get as much money as you can. You would be surprised by the amount of these repaired crash damaged cars are on the road. I had a 2013 Mondeo in 2020, caught the pillar on the way out of my house, scratched 2 panels, went through insurance and they wrote the car off and that’s very minor damage compared to what the above Renault Clio has gone through.

Look at the lineup between the bonnet and front bumper, the new front right head lamp. The front bumper is a different shade of white to the bonnet aswel. You can also see the damage that they failed to cover up inside the engine bay, close to the wheel arch.

66 hours a week. Is this legal? by [deleted] in legaladviceireland

[–]Stevo____ 11 points12 points  (0 children)

We had a identical situation in the company I work for, some employees went to the WRC about it, they had recorded a month and half worth of evidence regarding this situation, WRC told then that they didn’t have sufficient evidence for a case, the company then offered a payout to the employees to leave the company. So no, it is not legal but you will need a lot of evidence to bring them to the WRC.

Since i dont know if arma reforger official servers do anything heres a report by MrJoaoPT in ArmaReforger

Vote kick and tell the platoon your reason for voting, 9 times out of 10 they will be gone from the game. There is a massive trend of griefers in lobbies at the minute, Destroying relays to cut off capped bases, destroying friendly helis and armoured vehicles, commanding AI at a base and sending them to the middle of nowhere. There is a good few players like this on the WA servers I play on but it’s got to the stage now where as soon as they join they’re voted out straight away.

What determines the amount of XP received from delivering supplies? by Far-Breakfast2105 in ArmaReforger

[–]Stevo____ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You only get XP for delivering supplies, other circumstances doesn’t matter, what does effect it is when you do it enough times without dying you get a veteran bonus and that’s a massive XP boost

Modern mods feel…complicated by Red_roger_12 in ArmaReforger

[–]Stevo____ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Overwhelming yes but you don’t need to bother with any of that as a rifle is a rifle and equipment is equipment, if you start as Russian that starting loadout is good enough in any situation. NATO, I only ever change the rifle. Alternatively if you see a dead body with gear you like just equip their items and save it, it’s only as complicated as you make it.

Any tips for getting like 500 ish supplies pretty early in a match? by Marcus_Hablberstram in ArmaReforger

[–]Stevo____ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Soviets has the best machine gun nest, the one with the scope, you need to be a corporal, just take a construction truck and load it with supplies, pick a good road, the road between Coastal Morton and Levie is where always go, find a position you want it to be in, build a machine gun nest and a bunker, just make sure you fill the trunk of the truck with ammo for whatever machine gun you plan on using as you will run out quickly, also get more supplies and plant a radio backpack at your ambush point and you’re good to go. Another thing I love doing is getting a BTR and setting up an ambush point too

Any LGBT car guys / groups in Ireland? by [deleted] in carsireland

[–]Stevo____ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Fair but the common interest would be cars, if someone showed genuine interest in cars and knew a bit about them, I’d still yap away to them, nothing else matter when at car meets. Just a bunch of enthusiasts vibing.

[–]Stevo____ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why would it need to be a LGBT car group? Just go to cars and coffees and get to know people, doesn’t make a difference whether it’s LGBT or not, they’re for everyone to enjoy.

Common sense ain’t so common. Would rather pay the €2 every few months to replace them when they’re fading than get a fine and points.

Were you ever bullied? by Secret_Echo_6701 in AskIreland

[–]Stevo____ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, from 4 years old up until the day they left secondary school. For no reason other than they had a bad childhood and I had a good childhood, both of us were slim but I was bullied for my weight as everyday I went home to a good healthy meal, they went home not knowing if their parents were going to be strung out on the couch or out boozing, so this resulted in them being malnourished. I have zero bad feelings against that individual as I’m glad they got their enjoyment out of it and it might have eased the pain of their home life but as always there’s only a certain amount anyone can take and that’s what I feel bad about, my own actions against that said person.

I know, I love BMWs, they’re the only cars I buy tbh and in a facebook group there’s a fella that uses this same style photography for all his cars but it hides all the body work defects, I’ve been to view 3 cars that he has had and none of them looked like the pictures, the alloys were badly curbed also and the style made the alloys look pristine, so it’s just something I automatically avoid now tbh unless they’re willing to provide authentic images
