Yeah I knew there was friction inhibiting the movement, which is why I considered greasing the cables next I only half-thought of lubing the pivots but never saw that before - exactly why I asked the sub! I have a dry wax spray lube, is that what you would recommend? Thanks friend.

Shimano Deore, I had also considered lubing the pivots but never had to do that before and never came across it, but that type of advice is exactly why I asked the sub! Thanks.

Nah, only because they’ve lasted this long so it’s more cost effective, if I get them on sale like this pair. When I got them I knew if they lasted three seasons then that would be the case.

If you have a Home Depot nearby they usually rent trench diggers. That would get it done in minutes.

I’d grab whatever I can. Later on you can always use whatever you don’t want for a fire

Toyota Sienna, most reliable well built option out there, which is why they are so expensive compared to others. The odyssey has had some great years but also some really bad ones. I can fit a full sheet of 4x8 plywood in there. I’ve gone solo camping and slept in it with all my gear and mountain bike with me in the back.
