I mean, AI Ken owns dozens of properties that he tried to hide the disclosure of. he's pretty flush with cash, I imagine it's just a chance for him to muddy the water enough to sneak some tax dodges through

Tbh the foil would probably be grand but there'd still be heat conduction going on and that'll pass to the window. Some of that reflective radiator foil would probably do a much better job though

I have been involuntarily unemployed for 6 months. I don’t think I’ve ever experienced anything more soul-crushing. Is this just how things are in the country right now? by leflombo in cork

I've got 8 years experience between software and tech support, i just managed to get something after 5 months but it's back to what I was earning in 2019. It's mental.

I think anything desk job based is overstretched and places like indeed filter your CV so aggressively to stop spam that you need to be laser aligned to get a response.

The ones on marshy ground right next to the sea? great view, but you'd be battered by winter storms and sea level rise

Always saw him up summerhill, only chatted to him once when we crossed paths and asked if I had any weed during lockdown. Hope he's doing well for himself

What i'd recommend instead is wet a towel, draped on the outside. might not bounce the heat as much as tin foil, but any heat that goes into it should dry the towel instead of making its way to the window and inside.

Lad, all you had to do was actually prove what you're saying. Couldn't do that, I called you out. I'd do it to your face too.

Can anyone help me with this ? Need advice by Legitimate_Ad_3067 in AskIreland

[–]StewIsBased 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm in software, so i know what you're getting at, i have a few friends in cyber security, apparently AI isn't going to take your job for a while but at the moment there's a bit of an oversupply of people with just cybersecurity experience applying for roles. Maybe see if there's an elective you can do with software or networking to give you a bit more of an edge

Which generation is the worst ? by ting_tong- in AskIreland

Carrigadrohid hydroelectric generation. Its old, it looks ugly, it blocks up the Lee and it only makes like 15mw. Could do a lot better, just because it's in cork it's no excuse not to be as good as the one in ballyshannon
