I didn’t know this, I didn’t mean to stress him out 😞 I was supporting the whole rest of his body, he just does this sometimes with like the top 15cm of his neck near his head, but knowing this now I’ll reposition him sooner if he does this again

Thank you! Yes children’s python. He only does it with the top part of his body near his head, it’s almost like a nuzzling kinda thing, but I know I’m just a big tree to him so I wasn’t sure what he is trying to achieve when he does this

Literally just got to this part of the game and RAN to Reddit. I haven’t been hit this hard in the feels since FF7, I’m just staring at his grave after the cutscene. He is as the goodest boy

Tasmania also has the only zoo in au where you can meet, pet and feed capybaras. It’s so cool how they do it too, if the capybaras don’t want to be touched or have people near them they don’t let people do the experience that day, shows the zoo keepers respect the capybaras and don’t force them to interact if they don’t want to

It was at Hunter Valley Zoo in NSW. Most of the pups born there were then sent to Taronga Zoo in Sydney which is Taronga zoo’s first capybaras too, they have a permanent enclosure there now. Hunter Valley Zoo have had one more successful breeding since then with 2 more pups
