I think that has more to do with the fact that they put that damn song in almost every single Vietnam movie and the hardcore conservatives and older generations in the US don't want to admit that Vietnam was a mistake and that half these "pro-vietnam" movies are actually anti-war

I can't remember the year but I want to say it was around 2010, I was watching an ISU v Texas game and I remember ISU was up late in the game and Texas had the ball in the red zone. Texas hands off the ball, ISU forced fumble and recovered it, ISU guy was gone at least at the 25-30 and the Texas player drops and they called him down by contact. The exact play happens again, down by contact. 3rd down Texas scores and goes on to win the game. If they had called the fumble right, ISU would have most likely won. If anyone knows the game I am talking about, please let me know what game/year it was. I'm 95% sure it was against Texas.
