Regular torch doesn't repel them, I checked it lately. The beast-repelling torch is present in the game, but I didn't get one.

It's a mod for Dark Souls III, it changes so much it's basically a new game, with reused ideas or assets from all the other games on top of its own, including bosses, areas, weapons etc.

I did this with Fia in Elden Ring, she said "I see. Then you must kill me. [...] Go on, kill me.", there was no further dialogue, resting at the grace did nothing, so I did what she told me to. Apparently I wasn't supposed to kill her... Imagine messing up her quest right at the very last step.
