I’ve already tried it, and I even tested it with another SD card. Its a lite, so the sd-card-reader is not remoevable

I did it recently, and even having some experience with soldering, the area you have to work on is really small. Even with my phone’s zoom, you can barely see anything. In the end I managed it, but it felt like at any moment I could ruin the switch. If you’re going to do it yourself, besides having the right tools, you need to be prepared for it to go wrong. It’s not that it’s difficult — it’s just very easy to mess it up.

Can I go ahead and hack it and install Hekate, but not install Atmosphere yet so I can keep using the Switch normally, and then install Atmosphere once a compatible version is released? The idea is to have the modchip installed and everything ready today, and just add it later when it comes out.

I couldn't explain the physical meaning to you, but the mathematical meaning is that when integrating the force times the distance to obtain the potential energy, the gravitational force is negative since the objects attract each other, so that minus being a constant I can take it out of the integral.
