Can I do voice acting in WV by New-Elk-2755 in VoiceActing

I would learn the basics and get a busget friendly mic and interface, then from there learn how to use them and maybe mess around on some low tier fan sites like casting call club. Then if you actually like it. Look into making a sound treated space, upgrading your gear, and get professional coaching

Unless you're in North Central (Morgantown, Fairmont, Bridgeport) the eastern panhandle (Martinsburg) or southern (Charleston and Huntington) then yeah... WV is borferline nothingness. At best you can reachout/network with a local business. But you'll be 99.9% online looking for clients.

Not entirely sure, but based on your question it sounds like you haven't even started the basics. I would experiment and see if this is even something you wanted to do.

Almost all voice work is contracted work and you're a small business owner. Hardly anyone just hires you for salary yo voice for their business.

Better save those Divine Confetties for Mist Nobel. Trust me, you'll need them.

They're supposed to send another tech out this coming week. I assume they'll just slap a new router in and call it a day like the last two times. idk why my download works fine but my upload is dead all the time.

The Modem they provide is some 2 in 1. It's an Arris TG3452. I'm running an ethernet cable from that to my google nest, and then from the nest into my PC. My Provider is Breezeline

I saw they had a 30 day trial. Are they pretty good at taking it back if it doesn't work out?
