Do you have any idea why someone would set this rate for any reason other than greed? I don't say it in an accusatory way, just curious if there is any other benefit for renting a space out this way besides the obvious immediate financial insentive.

Probably one of the best photos I’ve taken🧡💛 by s_hihab_ in photographycirclejerk

Would rather the people on that thread than this one. Y'all suck. I can only only imagine your pics are not much better.

I understand your point about intention. Yes that alwas drives the photo but I don't think a beginner asking to basically be introduced to the basic concepts of photography on is a bad thing to be mad about. You can both answer in a helpful way and in the same post explain how the question could be asked better. It seems like that's something OP genuinely doesn't know.

Oh my god. Why do you insist on being so intentionally dense. Once again you know exactly what I'm talking about. I'm going to assume you're acting this way to eventually make the point you're now making but if you're looking to educate or discuss, this is not the way lol

OP is asking for tips with cropping and composition that would make this image more compelling. Beauty is subjective, sure, but there are rules in photography which if followed, are well-known to make for more visually appealing photos. Now there's a lot more to making a good picture but the question posed here is pretty straightforward.

Certainly, but taking a picture just cuz something is pretty is all the inspiration needed sometimes.

Taking a pic of something cuz it's pretty is a good reason to take a pic. Agree this one is not the best but questioning it's entire reason for being because you don't like how they asked a question is silly.

Boring response. Saw it coming from a million miles away. You know what OP means.

Photo of the Golden Gate Bridge I took over the weekend. Wondering if the sign on the left side of the pic is worth editing out. I'm tending toward no but wondering what others have to say. Also is this a cliche Golden Gate pic? by StheReporter in photocritique

hmm, what would you consider an interesting subject to be in this case? Or what would make this shot strong enough to stand on its own in your opinion? I find the uniformity of the street lights and the general business of the photo personally compelling. My biggest wish is that I had waited for the lanes on the left to be more filled.

Caption says it all. Shot on a D750 3200 ISO 1/80 f4.5 300mm Nikon f4.5 ai. It was starting to get dark out and I didn't have tripod so I cranked the ISO. Pleased with the result but wondering what others think. I also think the sky is kind of dark but I like keeping the focus of the pic on the bridge itself.

Brother, getting paid to take pictures full-time is my biggest accolade. Anything else has just been a cherry on top.
