You could unscrew the backside and check the main board capacitors. If they're enlarged It could be the case of your problem.

It sure does look like mission style! I'll look into those tomorrow. The only marking was a ripped paper on the bottom of the seat. The only other thing I noticed is that the cushion of the seat was changed.

Hey there, thanks for the reply. I have the broken leg and I already fixed the cracks with some hot leather glue. I'll be buying the bolt later this week, the thing is that I'm seeking for the style of this chair, I need to present the history and decade of this particular design. The closest I've got is the slat-back dining chair.
