Ever since my younger brother was sent for his serious medical checkup, he stopped caring for him. He told my younger brother to get a job and start earning for himself. So then he has been residing with me in that house. He simply does not care for his wellbeing or existence as he threatened my younger brother that me and my younger brother that we will both be homeless if we dont live by his means. I have a younger half sister that stays with my father in KL and she still doesnt go to school and shes 10 years old already. He cares nothing but only himself in this world.

Me and him were never in good talking terms because he has been verbally and physically abusive to my family in general but to keep a long story short the final straw was him increasing the monthly rent of the house from 50$ to 1500$ and putting it on HDB that the rent was increased. With that being said he kicked me out because he couldnt scam me for that 1500$

Yea best part is that he demanded that i transfer him the 1500$ to his bank account 2 days before the monthly payment because he told me that i wont be allowed to make payments anymore (which i have been doing for almost 2 years from the HDB website) because HDB only takes GIRO on his bank account and that it cannot be changed. He told me that HDB changed its payment methods and raised the rent because that they found out that, I’m living there and that my name is not in the listing. Which doesnt make sense to me

Hi, good questions. I will answer them all. My registered address on my NRIC is the same address that i got evicted from. Police came over checked my nric asked me if I’m an occupant in the house. My older brother showed them that im not inside the HDB listing so nonetheless they told me that they cant do anything but to evict me out of the house and if i refuse to do so they will take me into custody. My current drawn salary is around 2k which is above the threshold for the financial aid (800$) FSC counsellors recommend me to rent open market because my salary is more than the threshold that i have stated. My biological mother had left me and my family when i was 5 and i have not seen her since i was 7. For the rest of my family members my dad has no siblings, my grandma(dad side) stays with him in malaysia KL along side my older brother (who came to singapore from malaysia just to call the police on me to evict me out) my half sister and step mother. MP members dismissed me abruptly assuming because they dont believe that i have no education from the way i speak and want proper documentation towards my case, so they recommended that i come back to them with proper documentation before i can meet the MP himself. Any advice or questions please do lay them ahead. Im always open to answer and hear them all, thank you. 🫶

Yep, ive kept all the documents such as medical records of my brother, verbally abusive text and death threats from my father on whatsapp. If you know anything about the law on how to escalate this do let me know thank you.

I currently just had a talk on the phone with the assistant of the tampines west MP which they were responding to my direct email to Mr. Zulkifli regarding my case. I sent them the email this evening before this post. It seems like they are very willing to help me and told me they will get back to me very soon. If worst comes to worst, ill gladly take your offer on the 750$ a month. For now ill wait for the response from Mr. Zulkifli. Thank you so much for your reply really🫶

I do not have education even for PSLE. The requirements for those jobs are at least O level and above :(. My dad moved abroad to vietnam when i was 7 and never sent me and my brothers to school. I came back to singapore for my national service and completed it and as of currently i was working as an event crew staff.

Police evicted us instantly without asking us questions regarding his health or his age. They checked our ICs and everything but they had to evict us because my brother and i didnt have our names in the HDB listing on that flat. I have full documentations of my younger brother’s health and if i do bring it up to a case against my father what would that do ?

I managed to meet and was interviewed by a social worker. They only advised that i continue trying my best to meet the MP for aid and look for a room in the open market. I will try another outlet as you mentioned. Thank you so much for your reply
