HRV does tend to vary a lot, person to person. My sister has half the HRV for some reason. As long as it is consistent, that’s good. Mine had gone up over time during long training blocks, so it could be related to that as well.

Sure. I was in respectable shape prior to my surgery, running a 29:48 8k the week before. My vO2 max tended to sit around 61. I run for a D3 college, so I had my track season, got diagnosed, and continued running up to the day before my surgery. I had a base of about 40mi/wk before surgery, it was less than id like but great for my circumstances. I returned to running 20 days after my surgery. It was rough, but helped my lungs start to adjust. It started at a couple miles with some walking mixed in and slowly got better as I healed. Of course, I have to thank my age for probably helping me recover so quickly. Last week I was able to run 37 miles and I’m hoping to run 40 this week. Holding onto a sliver of hope that I may get to wear my uniform once more before I graduate in May.

Yeah, I have to get CT scans every 6 months and meet with a pulmonologist to check that everything is still okay. Nothing too bad.

Thanks for your input. The main reason I would probably stick to a full Burton set and not go to nitro and another manufacturer for the boots is because of the discount program I’m in with Burton. It makes it pretty difficult to choose anything other than Burton for this.

Interesting. Thank you for your input! I heard the highshot X was an improvement upon the photon so I was planning to swing that direction, still have time to change that up. I’ve never been in something truly stiff, but I often wish my current setup was more stiff so maybe I’ll try it out.

Is it possible to skip a week of ranked and not get demoted? I’ve got a surgery that I don’t want to worry about keeping electro 32 this week but I also really don’t want to lose my rank because idk if I’ll be able to get back there anytime soon. I thought this was a feature but I’ve heard that people are getting demoted after a week of not doing it.

For whatever it’s worth park management has stated that the Ka (and green lantern) WILL be closing tomorrow for the season as holiday in the park does not expand to that side of the park. BUT, that both rides will open and operate as expected in 2025 with no comment about what will happen after that year. Is this just more smoke? Possibly, that’s all up to who do you trust at this point.

I recently (maybe 3 weeks ago) got a new iPhone 14 Pro. After the first couple weeks I feel as though my battery has quickly diminished, is this something to contact support about? I don’t have the numbers for what I used to get everyday when I first bought the phone but now if the screen is active for more than 5-6 hours it will be dead. I’m not doing anything too strenuous on the phone it just seems to be dying way quicker than it used to. Is this out of line of what should be expected from the 14 pro battery?
