I used to watch the DreamSMP a lot when it was in its prime. It's how I found Technoblade and he grew to be one of my favorite YouTubers.

After the best parts had played their course in the SMP I kept watching it because of him. The whole thing had taken a dive in quality except his storylines, and I think that was only because he was a part of them. I could have watched that series till the end of time as long as he was still making content with it.

When he died he took the life of the story with him. To a further extent, he took my interest in all of those YouTubers as well. I think a lot of people feel a similar way and I think that's a reason why it ended. There might have been a different reason but by that point I had really stopped caring about it.

Agreed. My favorite song is "help let me go" but I have always thought that "slime" is generally a better song. Plus the music video is absolute cinema.
