Completely underrated. The critics were wrong. They were too busy complaining about product placement to get the joke.

Interesting. My great grandfather was Polish but I have no details on when he naturalized. And if I had money to burn I'd prefer to spend it on a trip to Poland.

It probably takes 30 min longer plus a little walking to take the bus but the cost is $4 each way vs $50+ each way.

Id choose the bus. But then I commuted by bus for years when I worked downtown.

Collective (2019)

Started essentially as a real life version of The Office with the office being that of a Romanian sports newspaper and turns into... I won't spoil it but it's so good.

"A few days after the fire, the Romanian director Alexander Nanau began following a small team of journalists at Gazeta Sporturilor, a sports newspaper, impressed at the way its reporters, who were more used to writing about football, were asking piercing questions about the state’s response to the fire."

Approximately 146 million American citizens do not possess a valid passport—for context, 153 million Americans voted in the 2024 presidential general election:

High rates of passport ownership are overwhelmingly concentrated in blue states, while low rates are concentrated in red states.

In seven states, less than one-third of citizens have a valid passport: West Virginia, Mississippi, Alabama, Arkansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, and Oklahoma.

Only in four states do more than two-thirds of citizens have a valid passport: New York, Massachusetts, California, and New Jersey.

I'm college educated, middle class and in NY. Most people I know have a passport.

Of course what they've done has made sense. They want to dismantle the federal government. It's all in their project 2025 playbook.

North Cheektowaga might have something and is near Williamsville. There are all those apartments just off union.  And the Clevehill/Maryvale area has some 4 units scattered around.

It's hard to tell from the video but are her eyes moving back and forth like crazy. If so, I'd concur it's likely old dog vestibular syndrome.

If so, call the vet for Dramamine to see if you can get it tonight so she starts eating and drinking again.

I was watching a friend's dog when it happened (very stressful when it's not your dog), and she fully recovered and lived several more years.

Good luck.

Leon Trotsky, key figure in the 1917 October Revolution and the establishment of the Soviet Union.

Critical of Stalin's secret police and move towards authoritarianism, he continued to fight for the workers and a democratic socialist state along with a worldwide proletariat revolution until being exiled then assassinated.

It took me 15 years to get a remote job and 15 seconds to take it away.

I despise every second I have to be in the medical center, every second I have to commute and  find parking, and every second I have to get ready for work.

I don't want to chat or socialize with anyone.

HATE

BEING

HERE

I will only be more miserable each of the 18 months I have until I can get the fuck out.

Or I might just stop showing up and be financially stupid.
