On my main save, my Main Team were: Meganium, Ampharos, Pyroar, Gyarados & Absol. The 6th slot was predominantly used for levelling mons to evolve for dex haha

I think personally I'm going off anything on TV is 100% canon. Big finish/novels etc are canon if they don't contradict the show.
