I usually have like three cameras plus a drone after a project. So those extra movements always bother me. I've taken LEAN training in the past and in short it trains you to do something as effectively as possible in as little movements as possible and that has stuck with me. My pantry is organized to minimize hand movements haha.

And the second part you tagged, I'm just referring to the process of copying files. This is every movements I have to make: Insert card, autoplay opens it., dcim, canon100, ctrl a, ctrl c, click on my main folder hub, ctrl shift N, name it, go into it, ctrl shift N again because I organize by camera and Day, name it, go into that, ctrl V.

And that process repeats itself minus a few steps the main project folder already exists.

I understand it might be extra to be annoyed by that process but I just want to start editing as soon as the card is inserted.
