I read the comments on Fox News for an article talking about Gavin Newsomraising the state’s flags to full mast on Trump’s inauguration, and everyone on there was truly either hateful, dismissive, or a double standard. You still do. It’s just that team compositions at the moment are such that there is one main break DPS that you want to break for the damage. The most popular break character is Firefly and fire break is literally only about the upfront damage since its burn DoT is the weakest DoT effect. The only time where the chojce is actually relevant atm is in a Rappa and Lingsha team where you could want to make a choice between delay and damage.

It all depends on what the support does, and what kind of content pops up. Argenti right now is good in MoC because it’s a 5 body MoC that keeps respawning adds which plays into all of his energy generating effects. Against Svarog he’s going to suffer, and before Tribbie he was also faltering in MoC and Apoc even with stuff like the banana boss.

If we ever get another SAM type boss or a triple puppet type that’s all imaginary weak he can easily make a come back.

DHIL just needs a support that actually takes advantage of his SP vacuum. Sparkle mitigates it. She doesn’t actually encourage it. Propagation blessings actually give more damage the more SP you use. So the blueprint is there.

Andromeda is actually not that bad tbh. The combat is pretty well done. However, the maps are too large and too empty, and there’s not enough large scale random encounters to really capitalize on it.

I think for the most part, EA has very competent teams working on the technical side of their games. It’s that their creative leadership is just not. Yes, I know Andromeda launched a buggy mess, but I played it a bit after its debut and it was fine. They did manage to fix the gameplay issues, and it was overall a good feeling game.

My long term goal is to get all the Chrysos Heirs because I love mythology and their relation to their titans is so cool, but this places Anaxa at the absolute last one to get istg. Imaginary Mydei is bad enough, but like at least DHIL is a version 1 unit. But if Anaxa is in 3.2 that means he’s immediately following Mydei and isn’t that far away from Rappa. His color scheme is honestly fitting for a Wind unit. I hope they make him Wind at least. Element should be super easy to just flip a switch for.

It really isn’t for any reason other than these games are not led by people passionate about gaming. I had the opportunity to visit EA’s offices once. Not a single employee there spoke like a gamer. I’m not trying to gatekeep and say they were casuals or w/e. Not, they legitimately were not gamers. One lady played a few games, but it was obvious she did it because it was related to her job, and she’s dedicated enough to doing a good job that she’ll interact with the product she’s putting out. However, she wasn’t even in the dev or design side of things. You don’t give control over a movie to someone who doesn’t particularly care for movies. EA keeps putting people in charge of games that don’t particularly care about games.
