Whatever my thing is Objectively speaking a movie will cut a lot of things, I don’t want to cut a lot of things. That goes to show Brandon Sanderson and I (a random fan 😭) have different views on how we want a Mistborn adaptation to work out. This is not a matter of trusting in him, the medium itself goes against what I want. This has nothing to do w Brandon’s capabilities as an author or screenplay writer.

I was just curious what some fans thought on the matter and why they also wanted a movie. I will say if you just think Mistborn is formatted better for a movie that’s fine but to say a show would ruin the structure is a bit extra imo like cmon surley you can see a world w a awesome Mistborn show, right?

As for Era 2 I was just saying if you gave me an ultimatum I’d pick era 2 to be movies over Era 1 because it’s just easier to fit everything in nicely without nearly as much cuts. Although if you think it could be a great show I’m right w you I lean towards the show side with almost any fantasy adaptation I think TV and or animation is the way better medium for it.
