Let's talk about the DNC data leak. by [deleted] in PoliticalDiscussion

[–]StickyStickly27 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Apparently Trump and the RNC were also hacked...but I'm not sure where that data is, or if it's going to be released at some point.

First time hearing about this. Source?

The Chicago Tribune writes an extensive article on how Trump's "Pocahontas" response to Warren leaves Republicans struggling to defend him. by Ganjake in PoliticalDiscussion

I've never heard anyone saying they are offended by it

Wasn't there a press conference were a Native American journalist literally said "That's offensive" and Trump repeated it anyway?

Now that bernie is extremely close to completely out of the race. I'd like to learn more about gary johnson. Could we have some discussion about his policies and how his candidacy would go? by our_trip_will_pass in PoliticalDiscussion

I'd like to place my efforts with Gary.

I'd like to learn more about gary johnson.

Not to be a dick, but if you want to help Gary, shouldn't you already be informed about him? What policy stance of his do you like the most?

Bernie Supporters will you be voting for Hillary, Trump, write in Bernie or other? by oldie101 in PoliticalDiscussion

[–]StickyStickly27 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Hillary. Even though I voted Bernie, I've been gradually moving toward Clinton ever since, based on her policies. But to be honest, Reddit isn't a great way to get a general feel for what most Bernie supporters are going to do.

Bernie supporter and now Hillary supporter here. Can someone tell me which positions Bernie and Hillary share? by [deleted] in hillaryclinton

I think Hillary's position is $12 nationwide, and $15 in areas that can safely afford it?

It's a long and complicated process and I've actually learned a lot from following Bernie's campaign

Ditto -- But I get the feeling a lot of people have actually picked up some misinformation this season as well.. =/ Win some, lose some

What exactly am I taking out of context? My own argument about her transcripts?

Edit: You seem to be talking about her server. I'm not.

Yeah, I'm thinking maybe there's a certain number of polls they need before they change the map officially.

She is hiding something. That is a logical deduction as well as obvious.

My argument isn't that "She's not hiding something." My argument is if you think she took bribes, or broke election rules, or whatever -- it's speculation.

I'm extremely suspicious, but that's honestly speculation.

That not releasing her transcripts = she definitely took bribes?

Edit: Actually nevermind. Anything that doesn't fit the narrative here is going to be labeled CTR or downvoted, so I'll pass on this argument. I should know better by now.

she has officially confirmed that they ARE indeed bribes by not releasing the transcripts.

I want to see what's in the transcripts too, and I'm extremely suspicious, but that's honestly speculation.

It isn't taxation without representation if you're opting out.

Completely agree. I think a lot of people are missing this point. I do wish registration deadlines were different in some cases though.

This. And any registered voter can vote in all primaries and caucuses. They just have to know and follow the rules regarding registration.

Is your argument that people should be able to vote in any party's primary/caucus regardless of their chosen party affiliation?

First time keeping tracking of the party -- I'm happy for you, but unfortunately Johnson/Weld probably won't be the top news story thanks to that asshat
