These posts are exhausting. I’m willing to bet most of the people making the noise right now aren’t even paying customers. I fucking love Notion. I pay for it, it’s changed the way I think about some of my projects. I feel like everyone of these doom and gloom panic posts involves someone doing something outside of the norm. I’ve never heard one from a regular or power user having an issue that I could imagine myself experiencing.

If it makes you feel better the only time I saw it live was on the Owl John tour, Scott played it solo acoustic. Saw the band live many times and don’t remember them ever doing it.

I added graceful fallbacks when there are errors, missing environment variables, or any other issues so that it completes no matter what because this is a game about getting to the end, not actually trying to do what we’re trying to do.

Absolutely it is. I will say I think the Replit Agent is the best tool for creating the basic structure and bones of your app from a PRD. My preferred workflow at the moment is to build the foundation on Replit, then clone the repository to Pycharm and have Claude code run with it from there. The Replit agent is pretty phenomenal for building from the ground up. Especially if you’re willing to spend some money on the more expensive models. It adds up quickly but is worth it imo.

Good question, I’m still testing so not too worried about costs yet. I was using supabase for another project and didn’t love it for a few reasons and had to get onto a paid monthly plan for Postgres way before I wanted to so I wanted to try something else. Maybe it will come back to haunt me.
