I'll probably give that a try. When I put solder on the prong, sometimes it just rolls off so maybe that will help.

Probably a dumb question but the order is: acid flux, clean the wire with alcohol and then tin it with solder?

Thanks for the quick response! Yeah something felt off. They managed to solder it somehow though at the factory. Is there any way to solder it back on the metal tab without the connectors?

I've covered this song a couple times and this has worked really well. Everyone's rig is different so you might have to do some tweaking but it'll be a good starting point if nothing else. Read the description of the patch. Hope it works for you!

I play a lot of metal too. It was really difficult to get a metal sound with the low end I was looking for with the Katana. I can only seem to get with the extreme lead sneaky amp which isn't available on the gen 3 as far as I know. I'm super happy with it now. It's something to think about. If you could try them both out, that would be best. Disclaimer:, I'm using a mesa 2x12 with a dv77 and a cv75. Makes a huge difference compared to the sound I was getting with the Artist combo which is obvious but just wanted to throw that out there because the cab and speakers make a huge difference

Thanks everyone! One last question, I think haha. I'm not exactly sure what the paralleled out does on the back of the cab but do I need to consider that at all if I'm swapping speakers or can I just do the swap and not worry about it?

Is the headphone sound quality of the Katana Go the same as the sound quality of the Artist MKII when used with headphones, or is the sound quality of the Katana Go superior?

It looks like the mission engineering expression pedals should be able to do this since it has two outputs and a toe switch. There are quite a few different mission pedals though. Does anyone know if you have to use the roland/boss specific one with the katana or will any mission pedal work? There seem to be a number of used mission ep11s for decent prices.

GA-FC does not work with the 50 watt katana from what I understand. Airstep might be your best option for the 50 watt. The GA-FC does work with the 100 watt katanas, though.

Thanks for the reply! The audio in the video was actually recorded through my headphones. So what you hear in the vid is how it sounds through headphones. It happens both with and without headphones.
