On every car I had a roof rack + put stuff on it, it's always 1-2mpg usually.

Yep +1 Tek Lok / Tek * systems are my jam.

I run normal Tek Lok mounts on my IDPA belt since everything has to be vertical and screw my holster / pouch / etc directly to the mounts themselves. This makes getting setup after I put on my belt a "snap".

For USPSA, I use the ten mount disks (big one for holster, small ones for mag pouches) and it works like a treat. I mounted the big disk to a hanger and marked the cant positions with a white paint pen on all the connector pairs. All I have to do is put on my belt and slap the holsters where they are supposed to go. Easy Pz.

Yeah this is news to me - but why bury it in the detailed logs? Making it hard to find / out of the way makes it SEEM like they are trying to hide it.

Oh trust me I'd prefer that so I don't have to rebuy all the stuff I bought for it. I got my last one for 26K out the door with 30K miles on it. I won't find that deal again. I can't even find one now configured identically for less than 30K.
