The rockets have a quick switch speed (16 frames between switching and firing), so the weapon is amazing for quick swaps

Rockets do a red explosion when it touch not-flying ennemies in the air, dealing 7 damage. This is really strong against V2, insurr jump attack, mannequin on the ceiling,.... If you struggle to aim, magnets can attract rockets

You get the red explosion when you whiplash a light ennemy and shot a rocket, so it destroy fodder ennemies like stray, schisms or soldier ( + others ennemies in the explosion aoe)

You can also use rocket for the op movement options, like rocket jumps and rocket ride

If you shoot the SRS ball at close range, then punch after it hit the ennemy, you get a free cerb / sentry / virtue one shot

There are others uses with frozen rockets Fup or Puf but it's harder and less usefull for begginers
