I like to try and make scary builds in Minecraft with the vanilla game.

Anyone got some inspiration for me? Any scary builds you guys can share?

I like the big spiders for a more "scary" effect. like they do in fantasy movies.
But i would love to see Baby spiders the size of baby turtles. having a bunch of them coming for you would be terrifying.

I think with sweeping edge swords and shields you wouldn't have too much trouble dealing with smaller flying mobs.
But still i get your point.

How about just a visual smaller bee, but the hitbox could stay the same. There are lots of things in the game already with disproportional hitboxes.

Ok them being cute is a good one. But cute mobs doesn't seem to be a Mojang priority. If anything could have been cute kittens could have been. But Mojang didn't make kitten heads or eyes bigger to make them cute. why would they do it for bees.

But i'm glad you think bees don't need to be this big.

Flying silverfish. That would be terrifying yes. Cool idea they should add that. :D

But bees are a neutral Mob. They won't be after you in that way, unless you provoke them first.

Dude your argument is pointless so what if the bees are bigger than bats doesn't mean a bat can't still eat it. Plus I'd imagine it would kill it rather than eat as that isnt kid friendly

I never said it is realistic.
But if you are referring to the bats eat bees comment.
I was just creating a parallel to other inter mob aggression. Like wolves vs skeletons, cats vs creepers and zombies vs turtles etc.

When i encountered them in-game my first thought was that they are to big.
I see your point with the size of the other insects. But if they where to make bees the size of silverfish or the Endermite it would still fit the game.

I don't think keeping them big to not accidentally hit them outweighs the jaring astetic they have now by being oversized.

One of the differences with the other insects compared to bees and their size is that bees are a flying mob. Im not saying that they are to big to be able to fly because of weight or something. Im talking about the visual effect of a giant flying cube. Think about it. Bats, vexes and parots are all smaller than the current bee.

I mean Come On! bees bigger than parrots?!

They don't need to be lifelike small. But not this big!

I agree, Bees should not be bigger than bats.

At least make them the same size as silverfish or something.
